The heart and soul of Masse Moro lays with the staff who bring the language, culture, and activities to life every single year. As a staff member at Masse Moro, you'll get the opportunity to lead activities, speak Norwegian, creatively teach heritage, work, and play hard. Annually, we hire for a variety of positions. These include counseling, activities, and operations positions. Please explore the list below to explore job descriptions with salary ranges, qualifications, and job duties. Staff orientation starts at 4:00 p.m. on Friday before camp starts. JOB DESCRIPTIONS
APPLICATION PROCESS
Staff positions fill up quickly and staff are hired as applications are received, so if you are interested in a position apply early. Once your application is received, the Camp Administrator will contact you to set up a phone or video interview. In addition to a basic staff application, applicants are required to pass a criminal background check before they are hired on staff. Additional forms needed to be completed after the interview is finish include a Staff Health Form and a Staff Interest Form (click on the buttons below to access the forms). VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
Are you a Norwegian Folk Dance Expert? Have you taught a Norwegian language class? Do you play an instrument? Do you have a talent or skill that you think could contribute to our program but can't commit to being a staff member for the entire 2-weeks? Then we want to hear from you! We are always looking for people who have skills that they would like to share with our youth and while celebrating their heritage at the same time. Fill out this and our director(s) will follow up with your request. All volunteers are required to pass a background check.
