• Experience with handling money and accounting
• Desire to work in a camp community
• Experience with young adults and children is very desirable
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Must be emotionally mature, of high moral character, able to work under supervision to accomplish the camp objectives
• Have ability to carry out all general responsibilities
• Is patient, enthusiastic, self-controlled and dependable

Job Description Summary
The business manager is basically a counselor with alternative daytime responsibilities focused around managing the logistics of camp rather than cultural programming.
General Responsibilities
• Managing the camps’ store and bank. This includes, but is not limited to: set-up/packing, inventory pre and post, supervising staff working there, recommendations for future purchases.
• Maintaining accurate petty cash records. This includes creating a detailed ledger with receipts shown for every purchase.
• Assist Head Counselor/Activities Director with activity sign-ups.
• In charge of on camp supply purchases. All supply purchases must be approved by the Camp Director. There are two scheduled town runs during camp.
• Responsible for taking any camper/staff member to the hospital if necessary. This includes transporting and supervising any campers (and possibly staff) who need medical care.
• Any necessary Laundromat trips.
